Foot Patrol x New Balance 1500 "Encyclopedia"

We recently showed you the first look at the Foot Patrol x New Balance 1500 "Encyclopedia" inspired by the Encyclopedia Britanica pair that released in 2012. You can pick up the 2015 version in-store and online via Footpatrol on January 24th and check out the full story below.

The classic runner features a predominantly Black upper with key details referencing various characteristics from the Encyclopaedia. They applied Black suede to the toe-box wrap and ankle colour, with smooth black leather accented across the toe-box side panels and tongue. Rich metallic Gold details can be seen embroidered on the tongue, the ‘1500’ logo situated on the lateral heel, the ‘N’ logo which features a single embroidered outline and not forgetting the leather Gas Mask logo swing tag. Reflective piping features around the ankle collar adding to the gold detailing on the silhouette. The medial side features a blacked out double embroidered N logo. They included a little extra detail on the flipside of the tongue in the form of an embroidered label faeturing an illustration of a book with the NB logo. The words above the book read ‘Knowledge is Key’.
