Adidas Mutombo Blue/White Release Update

In a continued celebration of the adidas Mutombo 20th anniversary, adidas Originals will be releasing a blue and white colorway of the signature shoe on March 1, 2014.

The Mutombo signature basketball shoe was originally released by adidas during the 1992-93 NBA Season. Traditional African patterns are used throughout the shoe and the iconic shield logo incorporates his jersey number, used throughout his 18 year NBA career. This new addition to the re-launch of the retro Mutombo silhouette is an original colorway which he wore on court.

Adidas Mutombo Purple/Black Release Update

Not too long ago we showed you first images on the Adidas Mutombo Purple/Black, and today we have a release date to share with you. The pair was originally released in the 1992-93 basketball season and will now be making another debut Oct. 5th. adidas Originals Mutombo New Colorway Teaser

At the end of August adidas Originals released a highly anticipated OG colorway that quickly sold out in stores. Now, it looks like the brand has more in store for us in regards to new Mutombo releases after sharing that a new colorway is set to release October 5th.
