"Style Your Kicks"

When it comes to men's fashion Kanye West is always a good go to guide on how to stay stylish while rocking sneakers. One of the best trends he rocks often is denim on denim. The thing about the denim trend is that it works best when the denims aren't an exact match as seen below with Kanye west. There's so many options as far as range goes. It's that time of week again to get your outfits in gear. Lets get right into and discuss the men's outfit. Now, the thing I love about graphic tees and streetwear is that they're good conversation starters. For example, I chose to pair this upcoming LeBron XI model with a graphic tee featuring the album artwork from Nas' "Illmatic" album. The shirt is a great way to get the conversation started about your interests. With a shoe like this colorway of the LeBron 11's it's best to let the shoe style itself. You don't have to go all out and match every single color in the shoe. Pick a color and don't forget to get creative with it.  Check out the outfit below and let it inspire your style too. 

Next we'll jump to the ladies. Now, if you don't know this already, the boyfriend jeans are back and there's sooooo many ways to style them. For the outfit today I chose sort of a lazy, yet playful and girly look. The boyfriend jeans and graphic crop top make the outfit seem like there was no thought out into it, while the purse and bracelets add a girly look and feel to the outfit. Today's version of Style Your kicks is about simplicity and showing off your his and hers fashion. Sometimes our partners/spouses are a great accessory. I mean we've all seen the his and hers photos of cute couples rocking kicks on Instagram and Twitter like the photos below.

If you're going to buy matching shoes with your significant other, just make sure you're both rocking it in style. So, today were going to look at his & hers outfits paired with the Air Jordan Retro 4 "Fear" dropping Aug. 24th as part of the "Fear Pack". 

Lets start with the guys. I find that a lot of guys are either afraid of colored pants, or they try them and go completely left with how they rock them. If you want to try a pop of color or a different style from your average jeans start by choosing a safe outfit like the one pictured below and then find what you're comfortable with from there. I paired the red pants with a dope Wu Wear shirt from Wu Tang apparel. And for the average man on the go, I paired it with a backpack and watch so you stay on time.

Next we'll take a look at the style inspiration I chose for the ladies. As 80's/90's baby the trend I chose for the ladies is one I am super excited about. Overalls are back and better than ever! The thing I love about this trend is that you can rock it with kicks or heels and still keep it sexy. Celebrities like Rhianna and Ciara have been seen recently rocking the overall trend and so can you. I personally think the look looks best when paired with a crop top, but take a look at the outfit below and let it inspire your next trendy purchase.
