Style Your Kicks: A Weekly Guide on How to Properly Style Your Kicks

It's that time of week again and this week we're focusing on two releases that reflect our personal sneaker style at FollowTheKicks. The Air Jordan 11 Low GS "Pink Snakeskin" released a couple of weeks ago, but I think it's really important to do something different when styling this shoe.

Starting with the ladies I wanted to keep things light, but still classy. Since today is the first official day of summer, it's time to bring out the short shorts and lighter nail colors. I chose to pair the outfit with a light jean shirt and a shirt that we've seen before in another edition of style your kicks because I love that shirt for female sneakerheads. It's a common myth to say women that wear sneakers are tomboys because a lot of us have just as many heels as we do sneakers. Check out the look and find your style inspiration.

For the men I decided to make the outfit a little more fashionable by using one of the hottest trends in urban men's fashion... printed pants. I love the tribal print on the pants versus using a camo printed pant. I also wanted to accentuate the gold branding with a little gold on the watch and the shirt.
